dont post your political views, do not comment in controversial shit, avoid being involved in drama and dont use your social media and followers as a diary, nobody cares about your life, they only want to see your art. remember that in these days, people is unable to separate the artist from the art, if you say that you hate black people, your art become a symbol of racism and hate speech.

it depends on what you are doing/want to do.
twitter, newgrounds, instagram are places where you need to build a fanbase first, it dosnt mean it cant be done, but is kinda hard.

in other hand, /aco/ commission thread, big artists discords with commission channels are right now the best thing to start, is easy to catch a few commissions.
