like so many other boards, /ic/ slowly got co-opted since the meme/culture wars exploded, but exploded during the pandemic, by the usual suspects that began with a T and assume that they rely partain of the chromosome x gender despite not being so, as such, banning and threatening users over the stupidiest non-provocations you could imagine, or just for stuff they dont like in threads, thus stripping the meaning of the boards, plus they absolutely hate the concept of fun, creating an aura that only attracts bitter shitposters who just harras and flame all around
