I started learning to draw via the sticky but I feel like my pencil control is too poor to jump into loomis and what not first - should I just practice drawing shapes and lines until I get comfortable? And is there anything about correct ways to hold the pencil, proper technique, etc? It seems like when I draw anything other then a horizontal line (pic related) my lines go straight to shit.
