oh and E: I'm doing a god damn "PEASANT PAINTINGS" series. The entire point is that I'm in the part of the process where Van Gogh moved to the country to live with and paint awkward, ugly paintings of field laborers that nobody cared about. He spent like 3 years doing that shit as a kind of passive protest against industrialization. Most of Van Gogh's famous paintings that everyone circlejerks about happened in like the last 2 years of his 10 year painting career.
