I've gone through scoot robertsons perspective book, and I'm wondering if I should get his how to render or Gurney's color and light.

I'm more interested in drawing than painting if that makes a difference.

Halfway through the robertson book rn.
Is there a medium between drawing a grid, plotting points, etc. and "feeling the forms"?

It seems like my drawings are going well, but IDK if it's practical to to like 10 ortho views draw a grid, and plot points everytime I want to make a doodle.
I just don't feel like I really am getting 'feel' for perspective, like rn I could probably do a really accurate drawing of a plane given the blueprints, but be fucked if I had to do a sketch of one while sitting at the airport for a bit.
