Do you hold your pencil like this?
Are you supposed to use the same grip on a tablet stylus?

Is it true that the Apple Pen allows you to draw like this? I can't hold my pen normally due to CT.

you're gonna want to hold your pencil like this, so that way you're not drawing narrow, thin lines and can instead lay down marks and tones with the broad edge of your pencil's lead. that's how they get those wide, descriptive marks that are better for defining tones and building texture.
