>I second guess myself at every step, I legitimately have no idea what I'm doing right or wrong, I have no idea how to draw anything beyond what the references on the page give me, I can't draw for myself, I can't think of anything creative.
I'm probably autistic (never got an official diagnosis), and I often feel similarly.
What really helped me was picking a drawing course that tells you exactly what to do, what assignments you have to finish (like book Keys to Drawing, peter hans dynamic sketching). I don't worry if what I'm doing is good or wrong, I don't have to think what to do - I just do what the course says to do.
