It's drawn in a common, appealing way, big eyes, simple lineart with lots of symbol drawing, referencing stuff that has a big following, there's no rocket science about it.

People sometimes like stuff even if it's not some virtuoso art for whatever reason.

If you want an example you can check out /co/ where people jack off to the shittiest rule 34. Why don't you go complain about that rather than something completely harmless?
