What excites me is that I know that with practice, I'll be good enough to teach other /beg/s how to get out of /beg/.
When that happens, I will personally put an end to all the misinformation that is constantly spread on this board, YouTube, DA, and wherever else.
I'd rather be living on the streets and have Drawing seen for what it is, a skill that is learnable with the right resources and instruction, rather than this magical ability called "talent" or "ayejun jeans".

Just think about it.
If you want to make a business out of something, what do you do?
You provide for where there is need yet a lack.
There is a need for people who want to get better at drawing yet there is a lack of good resources that /beg/s can use.

Just you wait faggots.
I'll have my day and when it comes, people will look at Drawing the same way they look at Writing.
People will no longer be impressed by the words on the page but rather they will be impressed by your ability to string those words together in a way that is intriguing.
All those fucking Instagram artists who post headless portraits will fucking die.
They will realize that just being able to show knowledge in the fundamentals of drawing isn't enough but rather they will NOW have to apply those fundamentals in creating MEANINGFUL art.

Just you fucking wait, faggots.
I'll get good just to fuck with you people and get back at you for making me fall for the fucking Loomis and Vilppu memes.
Then you'll be forced to create art that has SOUL or get a fucking job.

Try Brent Eviston's - The Art and Science of Drawing.
This guy is a bit difficult to understand. Or maybe he bores me to sleep, I don't know.

Here're all the needles I've been able to pull out of the haystack.
I've gone through probably 200-300 books already and what I've learned is that 99% of them are unhelpful and mostly useless.

If you're completely new at drawing then it's much easier to grind stuff because it's all novel to you. Once the novelty goes away, grinding becomes much more difficult and laborious. Then you'll realize you could have used all of that excitement (or first love) in doing something useful so that by now, you'd be pretty decent rather than only slightly better than people in /beg/. Which isn't much.
Grinding as an absolute beginner is a terrible idea because you don't really even know what you should be grinding in the first place.
Leave that stuff for /int/ artists who already know what to grind and what not to grind.

I just checked.
It's called "Sketch Like the Pros."
