It's a cultural trend more than a particular meme. A war between western crude and "too realistic" depiction of the human form, and the ideal more "sexy" style from the "east". It's just silly trolling, that it goes out of hand sometimes.
I love sexy style from the east (wink wink), and I've always hated american realistic comic style. But for an artist, it's a terrible way to start, copying a cartoon style and using it as a guide. It took me years and years of bad learning, to realize that I was doing it all wrong. You have to learn from real life to do the "cartoony" version of it, RIGHT.

This guy >>6670229 is right about the way of idealizing shapes to make them appealing for a certain viewer. That's what I wanted to show in pic related.
But, we can not just shit on work from a guy like you who is actually doing REAL SEXY art taking REAL reference as a guide. That's good, that's actually great. That's not easy. And you should be encouraged, instead of trying to confuse you with silly memes.
Keep doing those sexy girls man. We need them. More than ever lol.
