Yeah, personally while its one of the guys I look for for inspiration, sometimes I feel it just goes way too far.
Something like this for example, while cool, feels like its missing its orgins.
i.e. in >>3193630
You can easily tell what they were and how they've been changed, but in pic related its almost completely different with just the face and a few select parts here and there. And at this point you might as well throw out the theme as a whole and just draw cool looking monstrosities rather than deformed girls.
