You know what's funny? Some of the things you are complaining about here are actually things that were the most interesting/engaging for me when i started drawing seriously.
For example:

You can't just expect to "do it". People normally wouldn't be able to "do it" just like that.
You have to LEARN it by trying over and over again. And eventually you will figure it out.
It's just like studying for school. Drawing is not based on some kind of bullshit magic, everything in it is logical.
If it's wrong, you have to step back and analyze it. If you try often enough, you WILL eventually understand the rights and wrongs of this process.
But it takes a fucking effort.
Stimulating my brain by thinking about this stuff was actually what kept me going.

Use your head, people.
That's what's most fun about this journey. Expecting instant results through second hand information will lead to more frustration down the road.
