I goofed badly, I was washing old brushes in the bathroom with turpentine. Half an hour, all doors and windows closed.
I feel weak and have horrible headache, basically like I'm having a horrible hangover.

Luckily my area hasn't been too badly pozzed, but it'll probably happen eventually.

I honestly just want to ditch all books and guide videos and just draw in the way I feel most natural but I'm too pussy for that

being adult you have no time to practice drawing. Maybe after you are 65 and retired.

the average progress is very minimal
the ones who are really good also were really good before

I wanted to believe that learning art is many ways similar to other learning, and simply putting enough work will make you good unless you are a brainlet who has difficulties in general learning.
