First time poster here. I drew from when I was pretty young and enjoyed it a lot, I got really good grades but in high school, I let a really strong crush distract me from it. I'm twenty two now and want more than anything to be able to draw again because it was the only thing I excelled at. But each time I pick up a pencil, I wind up so frustrated because nothing comes out right due to the rustiness that has built up over the years. So I quit, then feel bad about quitting and this cycle just repeats. My head is full of ideas, but it feels like there is a 'disconnect' between my mind and hand. I bought an art tablet last year but it just gathers dust.

I feel stuck. Does anyone have any tips to get out of this rut so I can get back to drawing regularly and enjoying it? Should I just force myself to draw 'til it gets gets easier and eventually becomes second nature like it used to be?
