First post on this board, I haven’t taken an art lesson since I was 12 and right now all I can use are my ET fingers on an iPad lol

I’m not really sure what I’m doing, I’m sure I’m just drawing how I feel / whatever art I’m being subconsciously inspired by, but is there a general guide for any books on how to actually improve the technical side of art? I don’t want to keep using an iPad I’d actually like to use paint
