jesus, i have absolutely no intuition for size/scale/proportion
everything i draw is fucked from the start i don't know the right spot to start putting lines down and it snowballs into everything being a totally wrong size and running out of space on the paper

when you realized that master paintings and master drawings are nothing more than glorified tracing and that drawing from imagination is basically a meme only begginers fall into?

Not a single old master drew things from imagination and even while they could draw from imagination, they always used tools and techniques to copy 1:1 a live model or some reference they build in their studio.
