I don't think you really mean "design". OP's girl looks cute and real. I'm not against her at all.
I did actually went for the "design". She's designed as a logo. There you have two different styles of that basic design, so anybody can use it with any style.
Also /ic/ is not cute and quirky, but bratty and squizo, (more like the original Dick). So I did the classic Tsundere...

Obviously, yeah, but Im also leagues better than I used to be and this is a nice fun practice, also this is the first time I've drawn multiple days in a row, it's getting me back into art. No harm in doing it. Back when I filled the sketchbook I'm redrawing, I was literally drawing every single day, for nearly 3 years. I'm already starting to feel the same joy that I felt when I was there.
