how do you color your drawing to get a soft skin look.

i tried using soft brushes but it tends to go over my black lines (eyes, eyebrow and stuff).
is there a good coloring tutorial somewhere i could use?

OP here, thanks for all the replies, i'mm definitely gonna look into setting up my shortcut to make little task quicker.

for the software, sketchbook seem easy to use and since i'm completely new with this type of drawing, i'm gonna stick with it for a while, and eventualy when i hit a wall or it doesnt match my expectations i'll try to find something better :)

i did a few draws after i made this thread, i'm gonna keep on trying.

the "touchpad&pen" feeling is getting a bit better, i've gotta say the "erase last line" tool is really helpful right now.

do you guys & lads use the tools that help making a nice smooth round line?
at firs ti felt bad using it, but considering how harder it is to draw on a computer instead of a piece of paper, i feel like its fair game.

here is another drawing that i did last night, i think for now i'm gonna copy other peoples work to focus on getting comfier and quicker at using all the tools, rather than focusing on the art and imagination part.

also, you guys are great, didnt expect so many people to reply!
