update, finally smoothed it out, got the eyes pretty good too. Now the only thing is, how do I add color to grayscale? I tried overlay painting, didn't turn out as good, maybe I just need to experiment more.

I do however really want to strike the pose you made, at least the upper part with the arms lol, but it failed when I tried to paint it ;( guess that means I need to practice more with reference.

Oh man, I miss this guy, even through death, he is still inspiring me to be more productive. Truly can't wait to have a drink with him again soon..
