I don't even know if this is any use to you but here. Color is somewhat subjective. I just think you need more of some kind of driving idea behind your choices. Unity. I went the most boring route possible and unified by shifting everything toward blue-violet. I wouldn't use these myself, it's just an example of what you could do to get more harmony. Main thing you could do instantly would be to desaturate the background heavily, though it doesn't have to be white. Being so orange and similar to the character's colors, it's competing with her.
