Tea Party? I will focus on them as a team first and as individuals second although I will make some observations about the authors where I think will add up.

Penelope started strong with a +10 page entry and fizzled out at the end, as we all know. The character definitely deserved to be captain, even if the anon behind her was almost null on the social side.
Because I feared they might get over stressed or find themselves in a position they weren't expecting, I immediately paired Penelope with Balkari, because Balkari anon has tournament experience, and more importantly, understands the GM.
I found her design and background very interesting, but overall it was her male version in r2 that I was stuck with. A poetic way to go in every way. They rose to the occasion the first 2 rounds, for sure. I choose to believe that he left without goodbyes, rather than in a rude manner as some anon comments suggested.

In the event, Balkari could easily have been the captain of a team, once again. And BalkAnon is solid in all aspects, reliable. I know what he is capable of and I have the impression that in these events, he could always deliver more, but never does - this tournament did not change that fact. All well and good with Balkari, but she strikes me as just a new iteration of an archetype that BalkAnon really likes, a second-hand Azu, the OG.
I have an anime rivalry with BalkAnon and he's growing stronger - someday I'll kick his ass in a tournament, no doubt.
