>Honest question, what motivated this purchase in the first place?
I bought it when he just started the Anatomy course because it was a lot cheaper then and all the other anatomy courses out there sucked ass and equated to "this is how it looks from this angle!" but gave me no knowledge of how to do it from all angles or any understanding of how they changed based on pose/body type.
>genuinely good teacher
yep, take out the skits and actually pay attention you find out he knows what he is talking about.
>techniques not available from other sources
No he basically ripped stuff from other sources and condensed them but his presentation and examples/critiques are really helpful.

>too much detail
fucking retard. watch it once then rewatch it when you need a refresher for a piece of work, you are not expected to memorize every single bump on the leg.

>anatomy teaching is too thorough and unnecessary.
It is called an Anatomy Course for a reason you brainlet, if you want him teaching simplified muscle groups then watch his Figure Drawing Course instead.
>Sycra
At least you didn't mention Ethan Becker.
Too many of the "just simply it" people are basically teaching "draw the rest of the fucking owl" when the person watching has no idea about the real forms of the muscles.

#1 I stretch chest, shoulders, biceps, olbiques and neck.
#2 hold pencil as light as humanly possible.

some things to keep in mind
-Vertical mouses/ergonomic mouses are built to reduce chance of carpal tunnel too. https://youtu.be/XaWLLEztrIs?t=64
-in the past Blender used to have right-click as select, people would always complain and after they updated it to change it to left-click one Blender dev came out and said selecting with right-click is better for you as it reduces strain by not relying on the index finger for most clicks.

>Fanart is fair use so long as the work itself or the distribution of the work does not cost a fee, and the work does not "damage" the original ip in a monetary sense. Even if the artist got paid to make it, like patreon, so long as the art itself is free to view by everyone it's in the clear.
WRONG
The IP creator has exclusive rights to all deviations of their original work.
https://fairuse.stanford.edu/overview/fair-use/four-factors/
Fan art uses deviations and undermines a potential market for the IP holder.

Here is a copyright lawyer talking about fan art under US law.

It makes absolutely no difference whether or not you do it for free.

The best defense is implied consent like when a company praises fan art.
Another defense is saying the damages from 1 random piece on the net is too small to matter especially when there are many more out there.
The work being non commercial can help your defense but they can still make a case that you posting it on your social media is meant to promote your other paid work/ boost your career, thus making it commercial.

Again these are defenses you can use in court but a judge can still rule against you and force you to pay thousands of dollars.
