I blame the creator, but we'll just have to see how participation/quality goes. The challenge isn't over yet, but I feel like the recent surge of submissions are people cramming and not people who used the 2 months fully well spent. The numbers so far, see here >>3457453 aren't looking too good. Star Wars day challenge had high rate of participation with joiners and the quality of work is about the same as mecha challenge. That's one day of work versus """two months of work""" and the quality doesn't differ all that much.
