From a literal sense, I think color picking is bad from an originality standpoint, but do understand CPUs only have a 256 x 256 x 100 x 100 grid of colors to pick from, which is literally more than enough to make sure no color really can be the same between art pieces, but only one set of colors can truly look good for an art piece to look really good.

As long as it's not this kind of slop, then It doesn't matter. If real life people can "share" a color palette based on genetics alone, then so can art people.

Use AI to detect it. Images exist in time(something people seem to forget when discussing detection). You might not detect the latest day one, but the latest becomes older, and is detectable. Ban AI users often enough and it becomes too hard to make much impact as a fake artist.

Given how fast things will be developing, the detection AI could be developed the day a new image gen update comes out. there would be such a short window to getting your AI art onto a site, and then the next morning you are banned, so what is the point?.

there are some technical ways now, like this vid showing how seemingly white area all are different hues of white, impossible to create by hand, but they can be easily overcome/fixed if anyone actually wanted to
you can pretty much tell ai generated shit now just based on how it looks, but in the future it will be virtually impossible
