I'll take the opposite stance of most people. I think everyone has "weird stuff" they want to draw, but for lower skill levels they lack the capabilities to do so.
Its only skilled artists that can properly pull off weird shit so they're the ones who do it. But a /beg/ trying to just draw a good picture is usually going to play it safe and won't branch out into weird shit.

So to take an example, footfags tend to be pretty skilled. But how much of that is because only skilled artists who've practiced anatomy and foreshortening can properly draw footfag poses? While a shitty artists balks at the idea of drawing hands, let alone feet.
