This was from his tumblr, take a look and try to find the different perspective lines he uses and you'l see that they don't converge at correct vanishing points. It looks pretty and I don't think he meant to invest too much time into it but it's kind of fundamentally flawed is all, this kind of improper perspective is in quite a few of his works.

I'm not trying to discredit him as an artist, I'm trying to point out how important it is to learn the basics to include perspective before you take on stylizing your stuff.
