not sure man, I'm /beg/ as fuck. usually I end up having to resize the head halfway through cause it's too big/small. References always help of course. Looking at what other people go with kinda helps get an idea of what kind of proportions you should be working with. Usually I try to avoid making the head significantly broader than the torso, and the forehead not longer than half the head. Any larger and things start getting fucky I think.
