/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

i've been drawing fundies for a couple years strictly on paper using pencil/black pen, also brush pen.
i've been looking to make the jump to digital and 99% of tablets look like a meme. i was gonna get a simple $600 or less one like an xp-pen artist 12, but i feel like unless i have the very best tablet, all i would be able to think about is how my current tablet was holding me back and how it's not the best and the other tablets are better and more expensive for a reason. so i was thinking of getting a cintiq pro 24. then i'd be able to fully devote myself to my digital art and feel like i'm at full capability and not constantly be thinking in the back of my head that i'm handicapping myself with a subpar tablet and not at full potential.
i'm a semi-NEET living with parents and got a minimum wage job making $7.25/hr in fast food the past 3 months to save this money up. am i a fucking retard or is this sensible?
