look at your surroundings. pick a a simple object, look at it for a bit, think about the proportions in relation to nearby objects. if you picked a bottle, where is the halfway point? how narrow is the opening compared to the rest of it?
take your pencil to the paper, gently lay some light guide lines based of what you are observing. when you feel like you've got the proportions sorted, try drawing the contour of the object.
Keep drawing more objects, maybe the table the bottle is on. how do the lines of the table relate to the bottle? your first 100 drawings will suck for sure, but if you keep challenging yourself to judge proportions and shapes like this, you get gud.
