Maybe I did this one too quick, but I think it's enough as a broad guide. Everyone will tell you "work your construction", "clean your anatomy and perspective", "Study your subject" (search that pose and study it), but.., deep inside you just want to have fun, not to be tortured. Since he's wearing an armor you could use that to make things easier for you, pose and perspective wise. Keep it simple. And by keeping it simple you can add much more details. I see that you avoided so many details from the source armor, but at the same time your drawing looks detailed and messy. "Simple and detailed" it's a thing, a very real thing. Keep the design simple, elegant and detailed. All starts with "simple". From there you can go anywhere.
