How to spot human garbage who would throw you in the wood chipper if the government said so.

I'm a prude myself, drugs bad, alcohol bad, casual sex bad, but I'd rather bomb the UN before agreeing to half of what they try to push.

I will never draw or acknowledge porn of my own characters, but I tell people they can draw whatever they want, just don't sell art/merch with them.

Go for it, buddy. I will laugh about it, cringe about it, then maybe begrudgingly save it to my offline fanart collection, because I am a completionist, but don't expect me to give you a winkwink for your work.

You become technically good, but then you try to do your own stuff and you find out you have the imagination of a rock.

This is NOT a problem if you are conscious of it and willing to go through all the pain of getting good at this different skill, just like you did with studies. At the very least, you will be able to learn without having the technical side pulling you back, which is what happens to most people who "have so many ideas, but can't execute them".

Just make sure you're not avoiding creation because you are already trying to avoid the pain of sucking at it.
