I'm not sure! I mostly reference photos of buff men and muscle diagrams when I'm drawing bara-y bodies, and I reference my body when I draw feminine bodies. After getting an okayish grasp on the two ends of the spectrum it's easier to scale between them. I don't usually draw twinks so for swede twink I drew sort of a woman, but with small hips and flat pecs instead of tits. I wanted some curviness though so I added mass to his thighs and width to his shoulders cuz I still wanted him to look like a dude. I just play with shapes until it suits what I imagine it should look like. Getting a sense for how to adjust things can take practice and experience but really I do a lot of erasing and redrawing to get it "right". I look at bara/yaoi art for style inspiration too, I guess.
