i like the design of the girl second-left
based on the photo you're probably using shitty lined paper too, so we both have this problem. keeping at it for a while even with the divots gave some improvement, but larger gains in consistency came with doing freeform waves and curves. basically just make unique curves (straight then sharp curve then straight, irregular wave, whatever) until you find something tough enough that you fall out of the divot, and repeat that a lot. or just something you feel like is helping you understand line quality, whatever.
reducing pressure might also help, as will drawing from the shoulder to better evenly apply said pressure, avoiding the divots in the first place.
based on image: are you using a ballpoint? ballpoints make bigger divots, might be worth swapping over to fineliner if you are
