He just looks like a regular anime high schooler.
Try taking some inspiration from something like Uta no Prince sama with how he dresses himself in comparison to the other members.
His expression and stance says "I'm a little bit of a troublemaker heartthrob" but his outfit (aside from the star) says "I'm a serious student and like to be comfortable but not too comfortable because there's a tie around my neck."
Specifically if he's flirty or showy he can have his shirt open, maybe unbutton two or three of the top buttons. Other ways to vary a dress on a male character are to tuck a tie into a front pocket (maybe he's busy all the time and his tie keeps getting in his coffee), do special tie knots for a guy who's extra, some guys can't properly tie a tie so it's either too loose or the skinny end is too long/ short. Maybe they wear cufflinks or tie clips. Maybe they keep their wallet on a chain in their back pocket, maybe their phone has stickers or charms on it or a really decorative case. Maybe they're a bit lazy and he doesn't press his paints and they've lost the front crease, or maybe they're bad at house work and there are multiple iron lines. Do their pants drag around their heels because the inseam is too long.
Is their hair long because they're lazy or they are really into hair metal, or are they girly, are they compensating for their thinning hair? Do they paint their nails? Wear rings or necklaces/chains? Is he bad at putting colors together or dressing himself on days off? Does he only wear sweatpants and basketball shorts even with a dress shirt? Does he wear gaudy hawaiian shirts or graphic tees with odd in jokes?
It's all non fiction, you don't have to have a dress code for your story.

A leader should be able to stand out from the rest of the group as he would be the main guy to go after in the harem.
