>Monday: Sketch.

Brainstorm, make gestures, thumbnails, develop your idea.

Fix anatomy and perspective.

>Tuesday: Fix the sketch -or- Add lineart -or- start rendering.

Fix anatomy and perspective (If you didn't on monday). Ink it or start painting it.

>Wednesday: Rendering.

Block in colors, blend, add details, repeat... pic related (or you can start with values and add a color layer later).

>Thursday: Still rendering.

Takes some time. It's definitely lenghtier than pic related.

>Friday: Post production and deliver.

Crop, add filters, chromatic aberration, lens flare, film grain, export and post to ur insta.

>Saturday and sunday.

Free slots. Fill with studies or something.

----------

If you dedicate at least two hours for each phase, you still have plenty of time to make studies or practice. Makes me generally finish one piece each week. Not much compared to others that shit paintings, but it's consistent.

Part 2: Kids
>Assume they know literally nothing.
>Sandwich criticisms and praises together. “I really like how you did ____, but I want to see that you know/are trying to do _____.”
>Time management will be a big deal. Tell them how long they have for particular tasks. You will have some kids “finishing” 5 minutes into a 40 minute lesson. Don’t accept that, tell them they can do a much better job if they take the right amount of time.
>Behavior problems: You can’t fix these kids, but you can make your class work just fine with them in it. If they’re not doing what they’re supposed to, repeat specifically what you need them to do until they listen, breaking it down into smaller requests if needed. As far as bullying goes, talk to both kids in question separately, then together, then have one apologize to the other if that’s what’s in order.
>Art and Fear: Some will be afraid to show their art, or even try their best in the first place since art feels like such a personal thing. You will mitigate most of this by having technical, not expressive or personal lessons.
I’ll probably visit this thread most days, so feel free to ask questions.

You can try to copy from anime drawings for the time anon, but trust me on this one you should really learn
color and light as a fundamental, its the same thing, it goes from fundamental to style like everything else,
instead of copying from others and not knowing where to place your colors and shadows everytime learn
the foundations of it. Once it clicks in your head, that's it you can try any style of coloring you want and everything
will fall in place. Do color and value studies from simple objects to humans, and read Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter - James Gurney
