Forgive me, anon. I'm not too familiar with stylized art yet. Still, I wanted to help a bit. I think you're rushing into details to quickly and not giving line quality enough consideration. Usually people call it chicken scratch. Like >>2035469 said, you don't need 15 lines to define a feature.


Also, your proportions are pretty off. The top of the ear tends not to go past the brow-line and it's too big in comparison with the rest of the face.

The face can be divided into thirds to get a good idea of where the features should be placed. If any of these divisions are too long or too short the face looks a bit off. I'm surprised no one has said this yet but you could benefit a lot through reading Loomis' books. Take what I say with a grain of salt, though. I'm no expert.
