I have something juicy for the sharks of the thread before I go to bed.

I have detected identical IP addresses in sessions on account 1779 "kazzy", and account 29 "lilramune".

I have little patience for this sort of nonsense. I made it extremely clear that any form of harassment of other DAD users is one of the highest misdemeanors and it absolutely will not go unpunished.
Currently deliberating on the correct course of action, may think it over in the morning as I'm heading to bed right now. I am allowing time for lilramune to make a public defense in #site-discussion on the discord, as well as for named members to pitch in their opinions on appropriate recompense. Leaning towards full account termination.

Absolutely not. That would be a fundamental betrayal of my values. This concept was born from 4chan. I lurked on /ic/ while it was still a reasonably strong community, nearly a decade ago. Productivity bolstered by anonymity is a key part of LAS/DED/DAD's mission statement, where we can, in a social vacuum formed of like-minded people who are going through the same doubt, fear, ambition and excitement, start or continue our artistic journey.

I won't turn my back on something that meant a lot to me for the benefit of the ignorant internet population at large and their knee-jerk reactions, bolstered by an inability to take step back to look beneath the surface or judge things on their own merits.

Most people who use Facebook embody a life philosophy that generally runs completely contrary to the ethos of DAD and the culture it is sourced on: one that is focused on anonymity, constructive criticism and self-examination.

I have used Facebook in my high school and college years. While an effective means of getting in contact with my friends, it is also host to some of the most vapid, hamfisted attempts at buying a minute of your time and admiration without even the slightest bit of genuine self-reflection. Most offensive are the amateur artists, who work on a piece, post it to their wall, say something either manipulatively self-deprecating or humble bragging. They never advance, because who the hell would break their happy little echo chamber with some constructive criticism? I know some friends who do this. It's honestly kind of vomit-inducing and amounts to the easiest way of buying cheap, futile affirmation.

LAS has always been about keeping your head down and putting in work, building confidence through habit, and eventually giving people the strength to express themselves artistically and with greater technical eloquence. It's not about obtuse displays of skill or cries for attention, ranging from subtle to obscene that miss the point entirely: that it's not about the destination but the journey. We're not here to show off where we are, but the fact that we're going there. There's a reason why we don't have social media integration, likes, or view counters.

Sorry for the rant. I just fucking hate Facebook, and most of social media in general.

As a side note, some of the more quality interactions within the community are only possible when it remains small. While I would never turn away new users who simply want to get better, it's hard to build a sense of belonging and community the larger it gets.
