Currently Reading Micheal Hampton Gesture Book (Great read so far), actually putting out a lot of gestures and input.

So I'm never one to do a lot of gesture or figure drawing (this one page is my 4th time doing this kinda thing), I just got the motivation to do some today as i am trying to get on the "draw and practice everyday" training method.
I didn't really use a lot of references here other than the one middle sketch in this heap of amateur gestures.

For a doodler going into Andrew Loomis' "Figure Drawing For All It's Worth" Do you think I'm going in with anything or am i completely trash at this?

Most guys on /ic/ are leagues ahead of me, but that's mainly my fault for neglecting to learn the fundamentals for 10 YEARS!

I wish someone told me to actually pick up and art book to help me improve more. instead of doing basic doodles for years!

to "GIT GUD" every time I see professional PAID artist who get to enjoy drawing and have revenue. That's the start for my goal, to git so gud, i can market this skill improve it and go all out.

I'm using a name fuck it...
anyway, I'm an amateur really I've been drawing for years and have not pick up 1 single book or even had a teacher (sad i know).

poor kid never had alot of drawing supplies i drew alot in books, yes that's sad but no one cares...

I honest don't know where i am. I feel like I should have been spending more time drawing. the most i spend is 2 hours (OCCASIONALLY)

...NGMI, but i'm trying more and more every day.

How are you guys doing?
