Can I be honest with you for a second? I haven't run into many people on /ic/ who could match my output or seriousness of subject matter. Most people on /ic/, and just most people in the west prefer fanart, porn, landscapes whatever. You're the first anon I've really actually felt kindred spirits with.

This is 100 of my artworks, and I would love your opinion on any of them. The porn and lewd stuff, was just me trying to fit in and be popular and get views. me too desu. Growing up they were always working, and i flocked to the older kids in my after school program for advice. I guess it's true what the psychology textbooks say, "children aren't beholden to one set of parents" based on children that grew up in Kibbutz's they say children can identify with having more than set of parents and/or look to other sources when the they're biological parents fail to meet certain parental ideals in their mind.

I think that's why I keep coming back to this place. Senpai (x > 28) can be a bit of a bully, but he/they're just looking out for my autistic schizo ass and trying to get me to see the world for what it really is, an unforgiving place where if you don't outperform everyone else, you don't eat.

The fundamental physics of Art:

I) Boxman's law:

Any shortcut taken (in place of taking the effort of learning the actual knowledge) in order to save time, will ultimately yield profit, at the expense of soul.

II) The law of Non-artists:

Non-artists will ALWAYS find well technically executed art in little time to be profound, amazing, magical or some kind of wizardry. (Note: Non-artists are apt to to throw around the word "talented" more often than is necessary)

III) The law of /ic/

Consider /ic/ to be a strange hub/bazaar/group that is part university, part ghetto, part insane asylum and part supermarket. /ic/ will ALWAYS find soulful art, (not for profit) to be good and will praise and encourage anyone who is committed to making soulful art. Any art /artist who is posted who is clearly for profit, will be torn to pieces. Do not expect anything else.

IV) The law of Schizos

Schizo art is a strange, almost TOO soulful art, at the cost of the person's ability to function (probably) and their ability to respond well to criticism and proper discourse. Reply to their posts at your own risk.
