Well, online it looks huge and is supposed to be amazing, but when the viewer goes to the Louvre in person, they'll find that it's actually pretty small for the 2001 Space Odyssey of classical paintings.

>I'm not even kidding, this is what happened when I went to Paris.

It's a good attempt, and was kind of funny, but the humor just felt so "eh."

>>1876473 makes a good suggestion. I think some loud, obnoxious alarm would be a decent addition for if the phone is in danger of breaking or hasn't been used in three minutes.

Anime imagery.

Also, making an amazing piece of work or having a fantastic setting, and having the human characters be Japanese school girls or "moe" anime lolis.

I can't stand that shit.

Is this a troll?

Still lives are some of the most important, if not the most, staples of observational artwork.

How about line weight? I think that works as a factor, right?

How do you make something NOT flat? I have been accused of this a lot with my own sketches. Is it a value thing?

ACMoore.

Check online for coupons, first.

>Be me, Fall 2012
>Wanted to buy Prismacolor markers for years
>Big set is $200
>Print out that week's coupon for 50% off.
>Bought the bad boy for $100 no hassle.

Seriously, it's great.

Can I just say something?

To hell with the SJWs. Just because they might publicly outcry against something they don't like doesn't mean they can change it. I mean, what are they going to do except make some vainglorious rants or petitions on Tumblr?

Do whatever you want.

Bump, I need to see more sexy men and women in paintings.

Wow, I remember what it was like to be 12. This comment takes me back.

Mind you, I never acted like this, but childhood is a wonderful thing.

Just because it's not an oil painting, charcoal sketch or some tacky anime-inspired background image doesn't mean it's not art.

OP spent time, resources, effort and creativity on this eagle. Thusly, it can be classified as artwork.

Don't be such a wienie-baby. Art doesn't just have to be old paintings.

I like it, OP.

Dude, the Revolution sucked to fight in as a Yank.

>Guys in picture weren't standing on boats, they were crouching and silent in the dead of Christmas Eve.
>Shit pay, terrible food (look up fire cakes), lacking equipment.
>Troops had to walk through the snow with poorly conditioned boots or barefoot. Some of them were apparently naked (need a source, may have been an exaggeration in the letters of Revolutionary officials.)
>Washington was a semi-draconian leader who was not adverse to flagellating his own troops for poor discipline or mistakes, also executed men for fleeing the battlefield.
>No proper training in the beginning, you could freeze to death in your sleep during winter.

Also, I don't think I've ever seen "I am the Bat" or "Kidney Puncher" exist, but that's just me.

I buy the little metal ones you get at AC Moore. The double-pack for $1.50ish. Best for me, thus far.

There's nothing like the first sharpness of a new pencil, though. Much akin to your pic.

>I recently learned about a concept called a pig toilet, where the feces is dropped into a trough and pigs eat it. Puts the taboos on pork into perspective for me.

HOLY SHIT. And people today think what we feed our livestock is bad. Though that does explain why Jews and Muslims won't eat it.

Right.

While today we have health insurance, cures, vaccines, medicine and support programs, if you lost a limb, got sick or became blind back in the old days, you'd become the ragged beggar in the street. Hell, if you need glasses to see like I do, YOU ARE FUCKED FOR LIFE.

Only reason why I wouldn't want to live in ancient times. Also, no hygiene, no toilet paper and no flushing toilets. Oh yes, there were toilets, outhouses and ways to wipe your ass, but they were all just awful.
