it's relevant if you do art solely for money and want to get hired by the big mainstream companies. want to be a paid artist at universal, disney, or ubisoft? add the rainbow flag, pronouns, and the ukrainian flag to your profile. blm helps also but it's getting stale and dated. you will notice these people incessantly show off their old art and portfolios as much as they can and are constantly ass kissing upwards. they brag about 10 years of experience in the industry and haven't drawn a single original thing that they wanted to in those 10 years. you'll also notice that most the characters in their art are black, or brown, or female.

Why is this board so mentally ill? Anytime anyone post anything it seems like everyone has so many issues with it. Raphael was happy with the school of athens, the pope was happy with it, yet if he posted this image to /ic/

What are your favourite classical artworks? I need suggestions on what to display in my house. Must be classical or renaissance only...

Am I autistic or is the perspective on some of those people a bit off?

Everything has been done, everything has been invented. every path has been attempted.
Art itself peaked perfection with Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Caravaggio. not to mention many and many others, before and after.

In fact, when tastes -had- shifted as mentioned in >>2154742, it was in some parts in direct reaction to him (see pre-raphaelites) and the "overly" composed paintings that were inspired from him.
