My Jayne,

You are ready to begin drawing butts.

Using multiple lines for non-digital is acceptable, but 16 at a time is too messy to work with.
Change to a new template when it's hard to follow the guide line.

As for what you've learned, good. You've noticed that some angles are easier, given your arm's mechanics. When in practical drawing, incline yourself towards drawing at those angles to best utilize your arm. When in practice like this, attempt to be as smooth and accurate as possible even with your impossible angles.

As for broad sweeping motions, yes. However, do not draw too fast to be thinking while you do. This is an exercise for control of line, not speed/smoothness of line. You want to be conscious through every part of the pencilstroke. This technique is counterintuitive during practical drawing. But it is indirectly beneficial.

If you draw very fast, you will get a reasonably smooth and straight line, and there's a chance it will be pretty accurate, but this is not total control, nor a demonstration of dexterity.

Draw neither with timidity nor aggression; draw with confidence.

Do the lines once more, this time with proper lines to trace over. Do one line at a time, but do 8 cycles.
Repeat on a new sheet.

Also do this:
>Draw a couple dozen circles, big and small, on an empty sheet of paper.
>Make your broad sweeping circles and little circles using the same still-wrist technique.
>It's more interesting if you follow a systematic way to size and position the circles on after the other.
>For bonus redemption, incorporate straight lines into the circles to create interesting 2D geometry.

All due in 24 hours.
I will give you the next study in return.

Circles (that shit was hard!) and Freehand line (pic related)

On a side note I will be unable to draw for approximately the next 30 hours (work for 12hrs, sleep, work another 12hrs)

Can you give any tips to someone who's studying geometry?
This is a "transparent" view of an icosahedron i made.

My Jayne,

I see you've explained your circumstances in advance; that's more like it. You have my approval.

>>1412247
Yes I can.

Learn to the relate numbers, equations, etc. to the shapes and proportions and angles you see. Overtime, mathematics will become more meaningful to you, and leak into how you understand beauty, hence it will change your view of life.

My Jayne,

Your next task is to write a 10,000 word essay of the geometric applications used in The Mona Lisa in 30 hours.

I was awaiting my next assignment and drawing isometrically to hone my skills.

>10,ooo words.

It shall be done my captain.

I shall begin shortly and it shall be a glorious monument. I cannot claim that I will finish such a project within the prescribed period of time but I shall endeavor to fulfill your wishes as an apprentice and unmotivated loser should. Incoming photos of recent isometric drawings once my battery finishes charging.

Another isometric drawing (pic related), a few things went wrong with this one. Despite that, I was able to play around with a few concepts I developed, with some degree of success.
