This kind of "audiophile" audio equipment holds a bit of value. It may surprise you but quality CD players are extremely easy to sell.
Very versatile component too. If you actually want to sell it in your lifetime I would say something around 800€.

Actually that may have been a bit optimistic.
Try 600€. Honestly it's a pretty decent Digital center. If you have a NAS it's excellent and seamless. You might want to keep it because even today this kind of thing costs an arm.

>I use it, otherwise I give it away.
this is really stupid and I don't like materialism

It's seems obvious to me OP has no use for it.
He even had a hard time believing people would still want it. I know I would enjoy this very much if only as a NAS player. But giving stuff away is only makes sense if you know the person picking it up will actually use/enjoy it or they will just bin it or sell it immediately. I gave lots and lots of stuff to family and most of the time it just sits around. Might as well sell it. Giving for the sake of giving away is pretty stupid.

Money-loving children.

Well no fucking shit, or give it to something like a thrift store and let them sell it, at least they could find someone who wants it for whatever they want to sell it for, I don't give a goddamn fuck. I've given away so many electronics, old games, books, etc to thrift stores, many of which are probably "worth" something, but I don't care because I'd rather not waste my time in trying to find someone to sell it to and don't give a shit about the money.

Why would you give anything to a company that only cares about money ? Nowadays the second you turn stuff in they Google the ebay prices and sell it for that. Why don't you do that instead of giving away to ungrateful hands ? If you really don't care about money why don't you give shit out to people who will actually appreciate it ? Or even sell it and then donate the money ? Do charities don't exist where you live ? I'm sorry mate but if you actually do this then you're incredibly stupid or either fortunate enough to not care in which case good for you I guess but at least make sure the item's value is not literally wasted. Books and games are not a big deal I guess but something like OP's device is worth the effort.
