That's just C++.

Every template error spits out a line that's a minimum of 300 lines long.

You people want to hate Rust so badly.

You people seriously seem intimidated by the possibility that all the hours you spent trying to understand C++ and make sense of its convolution was all for naut and that there's really no good reason anyone should use it.

Nah man. I love Rust and I like C++ too.
I just found this image very funny and OP's image reminded me about it. I completely understand the reason behind this type clusterfuck and why it is irrelevant for average rust programmer. If I were to design a language, it would look the same, for same reasons as Rust.

They are unironically mostly indians. I've run into a few of them. It's not a meme and they are fucking worthless 90% of the time. They usually go through university too much as well so they look really good on paper while having never touched a piece of code in their lives. I actually had a real life case of some indian writing out each year in a DOB picker, I assume by hand. They were hard coded though so next year he'd have to add the next one every single time instead of using a loop like I ended up doing.

What the actual fuck
Doesn't learning any programming language itself teach you pretty much all the basics about problem solving and applying logic? How can people who claim to know multiple programming languages cannot fizzbuzz? Either they're lying about knowing to program in even a single language at all, or they're just kinda dumb

Not anymore. Memes aside, I saw the shift around the time schools started moving to Java. They view development as a series of incantations. It's too high-level for them to be able to problem solve. Front-end's not much better, thanks to npm install do-my-job.
