I have not said that. I've said you need to run a command in command line if your PC crashes while it's moving from one tier to another.
But given how stable Ryzen is, that's rare unless you're doing some sketchy ass overclocks.

Like you said, we're lazy.
I have two fucking 1TB SSDs and I don't like moving shit between them, and deleting and reinstalling, when I could just have a 2-4TB drive with StoreMi.
But the other benefit is that a large part of your game installs are not going to be regularly access files. Like look at your install directories at all the stuff that's probably not loaded much, like just junk the dev left over, maybe an editor for modding a game that you might not use, etc. StoreMi is going move the individual files that are accessed often, so you'll really get more out of that slow drive compared to moving the entire install directory back and forth between partitions.
But as mentioned, one downside is that if your PC crashes during moving data, there is no automatic recovery unless they've added that recently. You have to run a command in command line through Windows recovery or whatever to make the drive bootable again (You can also get around this by having OS on a separate small SSD so your OS drive doesn't get fucked with)
And I assume the
>WipedataMi
meme is because there have been cases of people having a drive wiped when they configure and run StoreMi config initially, even though it's not supposed to do that and existing data is supposed to be preserved. I'm not sure what that's about, but as always you should back up your important data.

Even if you buy it for $20, it's still Ryzen only, no?
