My laptop can't into CDs, and I've been looking for the driver, but no luck. I tried messaging the seller about the software, but still no answer.
Besides that, it's working neato. Fresh air right to your face, and the original messages say "take it easy", "hot summer", "be cool", and "I love you".
It's RGB, if you're wondering about the colors.
I'll give updates about the softwareif i happen to find it.
Ps; I actually bought 2, just in case 1 didn't work. They're good quality, so I think going for 1 is not too risky

I have had the 12" air for like two weeks now. Paid 420€ for it incl. shipping to Belgium.
It's much cheaper and makes more sense as a portable device than the 13" in my opinion, but you know your use better than me.
If you're planning on using linux you can't find a better deal imo.
Literally everything works ootb. I didn't even bother tweaking anything for battery yet, I get like 5-6 hours on a charge which is more than I ever need.
Only downsides I can see
- touchpad is so-so, once again I could probably tweak it but it's good enough
- slight IPS bleed in the bottom right corner, ridiculous complain because the display is gorgeous at this price point, but if you're really anal about it...
- gets lukewarm on my laps during warm weather

I wanted some kind of inexpensive chromebook to install linux and carry around all the time, this thing is so much better than anything else I could get for this price it's silly.

Just shoot if there's anything you need to know, I'm more than willing to shill it.

>> No.66090555

>In hindsight I wish I'd gotten a higher capacity one.

I've got a chink 3kg/0.1g kitchen scale I got from DX:
http://www.dx.com/p/1-8-lcd-digital-electronic-kitchen-scale-white-3kg-0-1g-2-x-aaa-134324
I tested it with my chink milligram scale on top and it measures 1g changes with an accuracy of +-0.2g so pretty good. The 3kg capacity has been enough for all the cooking measurements I've done on it so far. Been using it for over a half year now.

DX stuff is usually more expensive than Ali. But the same looking product seems to be about the same price on Ali in this case:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3Kg-0-1g-kitchen-scale/2019354632.html

A different product with the same stats is cheaper though:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3000g-0-1g-scale/32367627829.html
I'd guess it'd be capable of the same +-0.2g accuracy but I'd be more confident of that applying to the same kind of scale that I got.

I have these. On my second pair, the first one went into the washing machine.
They're my gym earphones and they do the job, they last 2 gym sessions on a charge. I don't need great audio quality because there's the gym music blasting in the background already so there's no point going audiophile mode.
The part with the controls is super bulky and gets in the way all the time but I got used to it.
If I had to order new ones again I would consider buying a seperate bluetooth receiver (something like this https://www.gearbest.com/iphone-cases-covers/pp_1362983.html?wid=1433363 ) and a separate pair of earphones.
Can't vouch for it though, I haven't done tried this yet.

Not really, there are many standards e.g. micro B 2.0 has different transfer speed than micro B 3.0, where even the specifications prove you wrong. Which leads to the problem, the cable reportedly has shit data transfer speed even compared to other chinkshit cables.

Read up on USB specifications. 2.0 has the same wiring as 1.1, while 3.0 needs more data lines. The one you linked is typical micro b usb2 so I assumed your phone is USB 2.0 compliant.
It's digital logic - the cable quality has little to no meaning on the signal integrity as it's either 0 or 1, not like audio cables where better quality wires can make a difference.
If your phone is actually USB3 complaint, then using that cable will only yield you USB2.0 speeds.
To think I'd have to explain shit this basic on a technology board, jesus fuck.

Got a strip of some sticky LED's to mount to whatever.
Tested and worked fine after I realized I installed the ribbon backwards.

https://i.imgur.com/ZnhqNlC.mp4

Mounted it on my entertainment center TV, the sticky part of it sucked so bad I almost figured I peeled off the backing wrong, but nope just chinese quality. Fit pretty well around my 40" on three sides and a little bit at the bottom on each side, with electrical tape. Doesn't look fancy but its stable and the TV faces a wall so its fine.

I used the 5v .5a usb port on the TV to power it but that made it turn on to party mode whenever I powered on the TV so I just installed it in its own USB/AC adapter I had from some /csg/ DAC I bought a while ago. The remote works fine with the IR dongle on the beginning of the strip, I usually keep it on white at night for a nice glow without the glare of a lamp in the room, but party mode to music is fun too. No link cause I forgot where I got it, but just wanted to share my most recent /csg/ adventure

It was 4.99 I think, honestly it should be able to cover enough of a 60" although it all depends what length you can find. If its wall mount and you >need lighting below then you'll need more length but since mines on a desk bottom lighting is optional. Also having two means sequencing them yourself or plugging in two separate units with two remotes which isn't ideal at all, having it be premade and with the USB on the tail end with the IR dongle was better than whatever I could DIY.

Also wanted to note that these LEDs were blue-ish at full white as you can see on my image, but I totally don't mind, just not pure white like fancy LEDs or soft white like a traditional lightbulb.

Since I didn't have a link least I could do was a rudimentary search.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/LED-TV-USB-Backlight-Light-Kit-5050-SMD-Color-Changing-TV-Mood-Ambient-Strip-Lighting-for/32809398662.html

This is more expensive but otherwise mostly in line with what I bought. Plus theres a black PCB option if you want (mine was white). Maybe the adhesive won't suck too. Also waterproofing? If you want that. It comes in multiple strips but shouldn't be hard to figure out, I just did a rough estimate where to start to center the lighting on mine since it was one strip.

Real talk, the stubby screwdrivers are good if you chop off the screwdriver bit and replace it with your housekey. It gives you a lot better grip. Put a loop on the back and it can ride on your keychain.

OK this is my largest order yet. My rule was to not get anything valued at more than $20-25 but this is just a perfect fit for my car needs. Also has DHL shipping. What's the chance I'll get chinked?
