Feels good having a keyboard that doesn't look like it's come from an underfunded Eastern European school. There is literally nothing wrong with Corsair.

>b-b-but le it isnt reliable

Corsair is reliable, had my previous Corsair keyboard for 4 years no problem. When a brand is popular and more models are made then there's obviously going to be a higher amount of faulty keyboards, but the fault rates are no different than any other brand. This includes Razer keyboards/mice.

I have a Ducky one and its a very solid keyboard with excellent build quality. The PBT keycaps are nice, but I did have an issue in which two of my keycaps became bleached after two weeks. -Handling and assembly marks are very common.

I can speak from personal experience about the K70 keyboards They often have touch up marks on the aluminum, the number row on the top doesn't fully light up due to led placement and key cap design, my keyboard personally has dead leds, and also developed chatter issues intermediately after a year.

I don't get the hhkb autism. the arrow key/fn combination aren't as intuitive as it seems. you also give up keys for no reason.

Bad comparison. The plastic on an MX switch is solely for the housing and stem, and does not affect the switch's functionality at all. It depends on your typing habits. Spherical keys are comfortable if you hit the middle of the key every time. otherwise the ridge on the side sucks. The same to a lesser degree for cylindricals. I know people who actually prefer those g20 flat keycaps.

If you don't get a full sized keyboard you are hamstringing yourself.

Y'all niggers need to learn how to scratch your balls with your left hand while being able to hit the enter key on the numpad with the right. Submit forms n shit. Hand to key distance is actually worse on anything else because the enter key is further from the bottom right, so don't feed me some 'efficient' hand movement bullshit.

In seriousness, I'd never give up home/end insert/delete + function keys. Way too useful. Even all the shitty mashed 96k linked in this thread are shit because they only keep a few (at best) of the aforementioned. Not to mention the missing numpad. Have you ever had to do math on your computer? Real nice being able to reach everything with one hand. Though I bet you gay boys never even learned how to use the numpad. Shits cash homies.

It's like you 60/66% guys never took a few seconds to learn the universal shortcuts home/end/insert gives. It's like removing copy/paste functionality on purpose.

In closing,
104 > shit > TKL > giant shit > other retarded form factors.

ps mostly typed while scratching my balls.

I found it. If you go to warehouse liquidations, and add a keyboard to your basket it automatically applies a discount. It's new old stock from the looks of it.

Oh, nice, thank you. I'm probably grabbing one of those. I don't really like 101 layout but for $44 I could do worse.

>also use a router.
Yeah I know. I'm currently working on building a 500x500x300 CNC machine, so that'll make stuff like this a whole lot easier.

And I'm getting a 3D printer next week, probably going to use that quite a bit since 3D printing is the shit.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on a Ducky Year of the Monkey with Cherry MX Reds, and some blank Max Transparent keycaps. Did I do good?

Thinking of getting MasterKeys Pro S. Any recommendations ?

is that still in stock? Anyway if you do get it, tell us how good are the stock doubleshot PBT keycaps. Its the first time Ducky has ever done them so I'd like to know how they are.

actually doing it in cad and cncing it would probably take longer than making a router template and doing it with a normal router. but nice to see people diying cnc routers.

That's the idea. But I have to build a larger CNC first.

Just because people don't buy into the leftist narrative you're pushing doesn't mean they're stupid.

So you are willing to buy a keyboard made by communist, rather then a keyboard made in Kentucky that is better built, more durable, a feat of American engineering, and is a timeless classic.
No anon you are the leftist.

Help lads, I'd like to buy my first mechanical keyboard, I've had a type on some and liked brown switches the best

>Budget
Up to $200

>Location (continent at least)
New Zealand

>Preferred switch type
Browns (I think)

>Layout
ANSI

>Form factor
108 keys pls

>Backlight
Don't hate me, but I'd like some LEDs, rgb would be a nice to have

>Previous/current keyboards
never bought a keyboard in my life, so only used cheap shit

I'm heading towards a Ducky one I think, really attracted by the simplicity of its design, plus I'd have the option of changing out all the keycaps, and I like options

Any help would be greatly appreciated

is that the CH7F with 55g domes? How does the keyboard compare to a Topre board? Was kind of considering buying one off of ebay
