White backlit pok3r with mx greens.
After buying and selling a ton of boards, I really liked the all-metal body of a pok3r. Felt sturdier than most keyboards I tried. Wish I could get one with zealios, but I'm too lazy to solder and I think cherry greens are just fine.

Think of them like Cherry browns, except the bump on the stem is much more pronounced, and so you actually feel it while typing.
On top of that, they come in a variety of weights (different springs) that are heavier and thus also more tactile.

I had 67g zeals, but I think I'd go for 78g if I had the opportunity again.

German amazon has some good Pok3r boards. Check again.

Clears are generally considered to be the Tightest Shit(tm) and also quite a bit more rare than browns or blues.
Ultimately down to preference though.

it's certainly possible, but it'll be a pain since half the right side modifiers are non-standard.

You could check originative.co, they have a black-on-black dyesub set that comes with a bunch of caps to accommodate for non-standard layouts.

Other than that, you can get blank DSA caps from pimpmykeyboard.com in almost any size, so they should have you covered in any case.

Though I don't know why else than having shit fit your theme you'd want to get other keycaps. The stock keycaps on the TADA68 are some of the best that you can get.

Hey I have that same exact keyboard!
They keycaps are great, with the exception of a bleaching problem that happened onto a couple of my keys. Build quality is excellent and there are plenty of macros. My two complaints are that I wish there was some sort of software that can help manage them since I had to reset the keyboard twice already because I keep on getting carried away. The other being that Ducky needs better quality control on their Dye-sub PBT keycaps since bleaching is actually a common issue on these things.

My switch tester has arrived.

When I first tried the different switches (there's gateron, cherry, greentech or something, and kali, as well as one Razer switch) my initial thought was "this is some autismal shit", not noticing much difference. Then I went back to the laptop keyboard.

I'm glad I bought this thing. I was first thinking brown switches might be best for me, but after playing with it for a while there's no doubt blue's are best. I just need that click. It's so satisfactory. I don't know how it'll be in gaming, but I mostly use a controller anyway.

Regardless, I was thinking of getting the Anne Pro RGB keyboard. Perfect size and shit, not to mention wireless. Are there any others I should take a peak at before finally ordering?

Depends on how much you are willing to spend.
Signature Plastics has really great sets in different profiles like DSA, G20, SA, and DCS. Look at the picture to see what the differences are.
Their website is:

Now if you want you can purchase from group buys, but these are only available for a limited time before they are gone. massdrop.com is a great place to check every now and again to see what drops are happening.

Right now some active GB are:

(Sorry I had to add a 'W' in there it wouldn't let me do it since it thought it was spam, its geekhack)

GMK makes excellent doubleshot keycaps in cherry profile using the original molds, so even though they are ABS they still give PBT a run for their money.

If group buys aren't your thing then you can just buy them from manufactures like NPKC, Gateron, Vortex, and Ducky. You can find them at places like:

Don't let the look of this website fool you they are legitimate:

different people like different keyboard switches, so you might not like topre, but no, topre isn't a meme
topre switches don't feel like either mechanical switches or rubber domes.
they have the actuation pop of rubber domes; that is, you press to a certain point and they essentially give way, suddenly, but, unlike rubber domes, cherries, gaterons, and especially alps, they press straight down. there is no wobble, no feeling of instability whatsoever; it's like pressing down a piano key.

all 60% layouts are the same anon. But if you want you could get something like a pok3r or KBPv60

>> No.57616387

How bad is it for typing? I do want something super light, but also want something somewhat enjoyable to write with that switch brand.

>> No.57616408

what's nonstandard about this layout?

>> No.57616477

I meant more as in the actual case. I saw some that are a bit bulky, but something very minimal like that one is perfect.

>all these new GMK sets or custom aluminum boards
>can't buy any of them since getting an ergodox
Staggered layout a shit.

how do the blade pro switches work?

>> No.57617078

Have you ever used one of these before:

Basically the same thing, but with a scissor mechanism to depress the switch

>> No.57617447

Matias switches still have a satisfying clunk, but the stems rattle around a lot more. It's annoying.

>Group-buy End: 20th November 2016
ok desu sempai

>> No.57617514

Ask them, usually you can still get in before they send the order to the manufacturer. I know the same thing happened with some people on their TADA68 orders. Even though the group buy ended they were able to get in.

I bought the KB Paradise V60 Mini. It shipped from US and cost me like 20 euros Zoll, but it was worth it!

>> No.57618526

What are advantages of V60 over the Pok3r that can't be overcome by programming the Pok3r? Trying to figure out which one I should buy

>> No.57618553

I second that question

>> No.57618821

Never bought a Mech Keyboard before. Looking for Brown switches. Is the Cooler Master Pro L good? How about the Corsair Strafe?

I have no interest in RBG or modding.

>> No.57618873

If you have no interest in RGB then you can get a cheaper one, however, from those two, I'd get the MasterKeys Pro L with white LEDs which is cheaper, mostly because it looks very simple and understated, unlike the gamer-y design on the Strafe. I own a MasterKeys Pro S RGB, and I love its build quality and how clean and simple it looks, with no real extra unnecessary frills apart from RGB. It's also driverless, which means you can customize the lighting and macros without downloading shit, and it should be saved on the keyboard itself, so you can even connect it to another computer and it should work exactly like you set it up to.

If you have the patience wait for black friday / cyber monday.
Last year the rosewill rk9000 was 60 bucks and came with cherry mx brown switches. Now I dont know for sure if the same deal will happen this year, but it doesn't hurt to check.

>> No.57619089

Amazon UK already has some things on sale, only a slight % though. Are they going to go even further on price come the Friday/Monday?

>> No.57619145

fuuuuck me, it even has cro diacritic letters
where cop?

>> No.57619190

>Are they going to go even further on price come the Friday/Monday

Yeah they have flash sales that only last like 4-6 hours with heavy discounts, or until everything is gone. Since its less then a week away I'd say wait.

>> No.57619200

You can get the V60 with Matias switches.

>> No.57619637

the sugested quickfire rapid isn't too bad, but you might also consider the Magicforce 68

>> No.57619708

Magiforce is actually one of the better Chinese keyboards out there. If you don't mind the layout then get it with either gaterons or cherry switches, don't get the outemu ones.

>> No.57619709

yeah, literally anything else
