I heard the mx clears are much better browns and are more solid feeling. Are there any mx clear boards that cost $80 or less, maybe even mx clear knockoffs? What names do the mx clear knockoffs go by?

The main thing which I've been messing up is the backspace/space. It's not uncommon for me to press one of them too many times, or to accidentally press them. But I'll get used to this before too long.

I still haven't programmed it to fit my own liking, so it should get even easier once I do that.

I run a flossed Model M, and I have a shitty Focus FK-2001 in the closet. Sometimes I think about refurbishing the FK-2001 with alps quietclick switches, but I dunno if i can deal with the bigass enter key.

The Model M is spectacular, though, especially after doing the whole 'floss mod' thing. For those who don't know, you just line the inside of the springs with Oral B Super Floss. It changes the actuation of the keys a little, but it almost completely eliminates the high-pitched ringing that the keys would make so the sound doesn't carry nearly as far.
