Yuro here
I prefer the american keyboard as all I do is move my pinkie to the right for enter, so the huge one is annoying, and my left pinkie just lowers for shift, which again is impossible on ISO.

Being Yuro doesn't mean you can't order non-ISO keyboards, so assume it was a choice of preference, not a necessity

I ordered it through ebay from Hong Kong, took about two weeks to arrive.

Search something like 'Poker 2 keyboard' in ebay then Ctrl+F to find the blue ones.
There's a few sellers who have dozens of them and sell them and ship them outside of China/Hong Kong

Guy with the poker 2 from pics here
I have to say, I basically never use either the Fn key or the Pn key, I use AutoHotKey for nearly everything.
The only times I do use the Fn key is for some key shortcuts that I quite like that are built in. But most of them I dislike and make my own multipress shortcuts. And I haven't used the Pn key once yet.

Pic related. My most used shortcut. I would literally use dome keyboards over mechanicals if using mechanicals meant I couldn't Alt+F4.
Alt + 4 sends Alt+F4 in this case

I'll be honest, I've never used the bottom right of a keyboard, ever. Maybe like 10 years ago in school when we had to do some french or german homework, to use Alt+ whatever numbers to make the umlauts or accented letters.
But basically never.
I did a touchtyping course some 12 years ago, which sounds faggy as hell, but 12 years ago man, I enjoyed it, and got gud.

I guess if I could literally choose what 4 keys to have to the right of a spacebar, well, it'd be nice to have Home/End/PgUp/PgDn if I was on a 60% keyboard. On a fullsize keyboard, though, fuck knows.

I'm gonna be up all night now thinking what my perfect keyboard layout would be

I'm torn because it'd be nice to have said macro keys, but the board's aesthetic isn't to my taste.

ps/2-to-USB adapter. Specifically this one, not one of the cheap ones that only bridges the pins. These are solid little nuggets and tend to just werk even with demanding boards. I have a pretty specific question.
I'm looking for some sort of keyboard solution that has both a low key travel distance and a low force required to press keys.

I've used rubber domes for 20 years, and recently bought a mechanical with blue switches after reading all this hype about ultimate typing experiences and shit. I got rid of it a few months later, since it wasn't really my thing. I can't type without bottoming out and it was just not pleasant to use.
Now, I've since bought a scissor switch keyborad with a low key travel distance, but the force required on scissor switches is actually significantly higher than on the blues and that bothers me.

I'm now considering a mechanical keyboard with red switches and o-rings that grant 2mm distance travel instead of the normal 4mm. Has anyone tried something similar?

Do you play games? Are you serious about it?
Blues are generally not that great for gaming. I played games with them just fine, but it wasn't ideal.

I'm looking for a good Keyboard for programming and typing, for the most part. What might you guys recommend?
I don't dislike games, but I don't really play them that much either.

I do play games sometimes, so that is why I was looking at the Browns. But a $50 QFR w/ Blues sounds pretty naice.

Anyone have any experience with the Zowie Celeritas?

I have a Zowie FK mouse and my autism won't let me have another brand of keyboard.

Is the FK unusable for palm grip? Do you have to use claw?

Not the guy you asked, but you'd need to be a girl or have really tiny hands to palm that shit correctly in my opinion.

I palm grip it but I have pretty small hands.
